Welcome to the Beechcliffe School website.

It is with great pleasure and privilege to welcome you to Beechcliffe school.

Beechcliffe is a successful and good specialist school for young people aged 11 – 19, we are proud to be able to offer our young people a safe, joyful learning environment where everyone is encouraged and supported to do their best and reach their full potential whilst gaining the skills and confidence to enable them to succeed in life after school. We are proud to be part of the Carlton Academy Trust and the opportunities this offers us.

We are proud to acknowledge our school is a diverse community for pupils with complex needs arising from autism, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties and some of our pupils also have complex medical needs, where all are equal and an important person in our community.

We have a creative Pathway curriculum model in place which is meaningful and relevant to our pupils, the curriculum is designed to engage pupils and broaden their experiences allowing pupils to grow and thrive in all aspects of their lives.

We believe our pupils deserve the best and we have highly skilled staff and a well-resourced school environment to support them in achieving their full potential. We believe positive experiences are vital for our pupils education, such as outdoor learning, residentials and visits within the local community and further afield.

I hope you find our website useful for finding information about us.
