KS3 Pupils Enjoy a Fantastic Day of Fishing at Farview Fishing Lakes

Yesterday, a group of KS3 pupils had the exciting opportunity to spend the day fishing at Farview Fishing Lakes. The session gave everyone the chance to learn new outdoor skills, explore the local environment, and enjoy hands‑on experiences by the water.

Pupils were introduced to different types of fish found in the lakes and discovered which bait is most effective — including the ever‑popular maggots used by many anglers. Their patience and concentration paid off, with pupils successfully catching Perch and Bream throughout the day.

The trip offered a great blend of learning, teamwork, and fun. All pupils showed enthusiasm and curiosity, and each one came away with a sense of achievement.

It was a fantastic day outdoors, and we’re proud of how well our pupils represented the school
